Standard Features
Elected Officials
Every elected official will receive a photo and complete biography. The name of
every elected official will be prominently displayed on the website homepage as
well as through the elected officials tab located on the homepage.
Community Calendar
All community events are stored on the community calendar page of the website. The
information will be accessible from two different areas of the website. The homepage
will be programmed to display the next three upcoming events. A visitor can also
click directly on the community calendar tab located on the homepage. Every event
contains a hyperlink to a pop-up window that contains all the necessary details
for each event.
Upcoming Meetings
This is, perhaps, the most useful and interactive feature of the website. Along
with the community calendar page, a complete list of all (Council, Planning and Zoning
Board) meetings is displayed. Visitors also have the option to view meeting agendas
and actions taken.
Online Forms
The website is designed to allow users to quickly locate and download important
municipal forms. All forms contained on the website will be in .pdf format to ensure
the integrity of all documents.
Community Directory
From the community directory page a visitor can quickly locate contact information
for specific municipal departments and divisions. The section may contain contact
names, telephone/fax numbers, email addresses, and the physical address for specific
buildings.
Email Notification
Repeat visitors and users can sign up for an automatic email notification feature.
Once a user enters his/her email address, they can be immediately notified about
any website changes.
Pay Tickets
The website is created with a direct link to the State’s Treasury Department
which allows users to pay any municipal ticket over the Internet with the ease of
a credit card.
Contact Us
An online form is available for citizen to contact their elected official and key
members of the administration. Any elected official or key member of the administration
may be selected as a point of contact. All correspondence is sent to the municipal
clerk for dissemination.

The Quick Links section of the website homepage can be completely customized to
each individual municipality. These links can be permanent or temporary and can
quickly and easily be changed.

This option contains an image showing your area’s current threat level while
linking directly to the NJ Homeland Security website.
Email notification sign up box. - Default
Much like an e-newsletter sign up directly from your homepage, visitors can sign
up to receive website updates via email.
Photo Gallery
If you envision promoting many community events on your website, then an online
photo gallery might be the perfect compliment to your website. The photo gallery
is designed to display photos and captions from all your events.
Press Releases
If you foresee sending out many press releases or media advisories, then this section
is the most ideal choice. All press releases will be displayed in order of release
date.
Departments
In certain forms of government, each elected official presides over a certain department.
By listing departments, each one is listed along with presiding official’s
name.
